SLA and Privacy Statement

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We will respond to all support requests sent to support@bit-booster.com within 2 business days. Please note: we prefer to receive emails to our "bit-booster.com" email address. Our "gitbooster.com" email addresses are not currently monitored.

During our HQ region's statutory holidays (BC, Canada), our response time might be delayed by 1 additional business day (a total of 3 business days).

Data Security and Privacy Statement

To operate correctly the GitBooster app stores customer Git repository metadata in our Canadian datacenter. This metadata includes commit messages, Jira ticket references, file names, email addresses, and Git commit branch and merge history. We DO NOT download or store ANY customer source code.

This data is ONLY shared with GitHub and Jira endpoints to achieve the GitBooster functionality. This data is NEVER shared with any other 3rd parties.

If a customer deletes a branch or repository in their GitHub organization, GitBooster automatically deletes any corresponding data in our datacenter shortly after (within 60 minutes).

If a customer uninstalls GitBooster, we delete all of that customer's data from our datacenter automatically (within 60 minutes).

Security Policy

We will have a SOC 2 Type 1 audit completed in 2026, and we can share the auditor's report with customers that sign an NDA. We are also happy to discuss our security architecture with customers before the SOC 2 report is available.

Source Code Availability

At this time (July 2025) the GitBooster app does not require installation of any apps or browser extensions directly to customer workstations to function fully. If such becomes required at some future date (or optionally recommended), we will make the full buildable source code of these apps and extensions available for customers to download and review.
